1. About these terms
Using this website or booking a clean means these terms are accepted. Cleaning services are provided by SparknCo, operating across Birmingham and the surrounding areas, arranged and confirmed online.
2. Bookings
The minimum booking length is 2 hours. A booking is confirmed once a date, time and price have been agreed in writing, by email or through the booking confirmation sent after a quote is accepted.
3. Deposits
A 20% deposit is required to secure a Deep Clean or End of Tenancy booking. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the clean, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
4. Payment
Payment is accepted by bank transfer, cash, or card. Prices are fixed and confirmed before a booking is placed, and nothing is added afterwards without agreement.
5. Cancellations
At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a booking. A cancellation made with less notice may result in any deposit paid being retained.
Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: bookings made online by a consumer normally carry a statutory 14-day cancellation right, separate from the 24-hour policy above. If a booking is scheduled to take place within that 14-day window, the client’s express request is needed to begin the service before the period ends — this should be captured at booking (e.g. a checkbox), not assumed.
6. Property access
The client is responsible for providing safe access to the property at the agreed time. If access cannot be gained on arrival, the visit may be charged as a missed appointment.
7. Service standard
Cleaners are DBS-checked and directly employed. If a clean does not meet the standard agreed, this should be reported within 24 hours so it can be put right.
8. Liability and insurance
SparknCo holds public liability insurance of £2,000,000. Liability for loss or damage is limited to the value of the service booked, except where liability cannot be limited by law, such as death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version published on the website at the time a booking is made is the version that applies to it.
