SparknCo (“we”, “us”) provides residential cleaning services in Birmingham and the surrounding areas. This policy explains what personal data is collected through the website and booking process, and how it is used. This business operates online only and does not hold a public office. - Name, phone number and email address
- Property address and postcode, needed to arrange a visit
- Booking details — service type, date, and any add-ons selected
- Payment details, processed via banking app / Cash
- Any message sent through the contact form, booking form, or by email

- To arrange, confirm and manage a booking
- To match a cleaner to a property
- To process payments and deposits
- To respond to enquiries and complaints
- To send booking-related updates, and marketing only where consent has been given
4. Legal basis for processing
- Contract — to provide the service booked
- Legitimate interest — service quality and fraud prevention
- Consent — marketing communications, where opted in
5. Who data is shared with
The cleaner assigned to a booking is given the information needed to attend — name, address and any access notes. Payment details are shared with the payment processor used to take deposits and balances. Data is not sold to third parties.
6. How long data is kept
Booking and payment records are kept for [6 years], in line with UK tax record-keeping requirements. Where marketing consent has been given, contact details are kept until that consent is withdrawn.
7. Rights
A request can be made at any time to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal data held, and marketing consent can be withdrawn at any time. Complaints about how data is handled can also be raised with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
